The golf course at Battleground Country Club, located in the heart of Manalapan, sits on 220 acres and stretches nearly 7,000 yards.
Battleground Country Club was designed by Hal Purdy and opened in 1961. Beginning in 2002 through 2004 the course was redesigned by the Northeast Collaborative, specifically Robert McNeil. The new design features a variety of golf holes from long traditional par 4’s to a breathtaking par 3 over water. The renovations are complete and the 18-hole golf course is still nearly 7,000 yards, but challenging to all golfers of varying abilities.
