Applecross Country Club

Applecross Country Club is the first and only Nicklaus Designed golf course in the Philadelphia area. The design goal of the course was to create an exciting, challenging and most of all a fun golf experience for golfers of all skill levels. The rolling terrain, manicured fairways, native wetlands and timeless Chester County countryside combine for a golfing experience unique to the surrounding area.

The course features a variety of shot making opportunities for the scratch golfer as well as generous fairways and landing zones for the beginners. Applecross’ USGA Bentgrass greens, tees and fairways, and state Of the art Sub Air Greens circulation system registers high marks amongst its peers for conditioning and playing conditions. The Nicklaus design team takes advantage of significant elevation changes with breath taking views from many of the tees. Creekside holes and wetlands provide additional flavour. Finishing off each 9 are reachable par 5-s, guarded by rock walled greenside ponds.

Club dining is centered around the Eagle’s Nest perched high atop the Golf Clubhouse overlooking the 18th and 19th holes. This timber framed bar lounge is the perfect before or apres golf venue featuring a fresh gastro pub style menu and tournament shuffleboard tables.
